Our program is seeking excellent candidates for training in the field of optics, who wish to broaden their research study with international collaborative experiences and industry engagement with additional professional skills training.
The NSERC CREATE Guided Light training program is open to students studying with the participating principle investigators at the Canadian institutions University of Toronto, INRS and Université Laval. While the program provides stipends to PhD graduate students, it also welcomes undergraduate, Masters, and Postdoctoral trainees to participate in our various training, workshop and industry liaison activities. For more information on the training opportunities and how to apply to the CREATE program, you are advised to study under the umbrella of research topics and respective supervising professors belonging to our program. Applications to the program are open year round and guided by your potential supervisor with support from the administration staff.
